Gooding & Company offers two distinct methods of sale for your classic car: Auctions and Private Sales. Each platform offers its own unique advantages, and we are happy to discuss each process with you to determine what is the best route to pursue given your individual needs, whether they are based on issues of time, logistics or cost.
Auctions:
- A standard 10% sellers commission — negotiable depending on external terms
- $1,500 entry fee
- Full catalogue description
- Targeted marketing via catalogue, advertising, on-site display and discussions with interested parties
- Should the car fail to sell at auction, the next thirty days are allotted to attempt a Private Sale
- Currently Gooding & Company holds two scheduled auctions per year — Scottsdale in January and the two-day Pebble Beach auction in August.

Private Sales:

In both instances, vendors must supply a clear, transferrable title as well as any other documents deemed necessary to successfully market the consignment.
